20 .9 How we got the Green gold silver reflection Award

On Thursday we had silver reflection day it was very fantastic next we went under the wainui and sang Some songs for kauri and curtsy . Also the boys did the haka and roared like lions we made a pirate ship out of egg cartons. And dream catchers out of old CD’s and we actually made bird feeders and hung them outside. It was fun and a little bit messy too
Plus the bird seeds went everywhere and we even ate some but i did't eat some because
I don't like peanut butter and i'm not a bird. Next kauri and curtsy came to tell us about
The five guiding principles and then to be continued

Mystical forest

One day far, far away in a magical forest, birds were singing and owls were whooshing through trees. There was water trickling down waterfalls and beautiful crystal walls. The wind was howling deep in the distance. You can see shiny stars up high in the sky and in the distance there was a woosh! A barn owl swooped down from her perch to find a worm. Suddenly there was a growl! A big angry growl. Then there was silence. Owl looked around her and still there was silence. Nearby she saw an old man walking towards her and he tripped over and the knife from his hand went flying right into the owl’s knee. The old man grabbed
the knife.
“I will hunt you down!” shouted the man and ran away into the forest.Later on a beautiful woman walked past the owl. Then she stopped and looked at the beautiful white barn owl. She saw the owls wounded leg and said.
“I’ll put a bandage on the wound.”
The woman gave her some berries and a worm. The kind woman took her to her palace that was covered in gems but they weren't ordinary gems they were magical gems. She said you will be safe here. She remembered the evil man said that he will hunt you down. The owl flew back to the palace where the chef had a feast for her. There was ice cream and salad she was very happy.
“I don't deserve this.” Said owl.
“Yes you do, because you are kind and thoughtful.” Said the kind woman.
“Thank you .” Said owl.

They gave each other a hug and lived happily ever after.
